Business Portraits Against Frosted Glass, London
It’s not totally straight forward photographing corporate headshots photographs against glass due to the reflections from the glass but once the lighting is positioned correctly then its fairly easy after that. I started off with putting the light at a 45 degree angle but it was very difficult to get a clean shot without reflections so I finally positioned the main light to my fair left and feathered it heavily across the subject face.
After that I marked on the floor so each person would know where to stand. Then finally I added a reflector to my right to fill in the shadows so it became less dense.
It always a fun challenge to photograph corporate headshots and when it comes together it very satisfying but more importantly its creates striking portraits for the clients.
