Hotel Conference photographer – Royal Lancaster

Corporate Conference Photography

During the beginning of October this year I was invited to photograph a three day conference at Royal Lancaster Hotel in Bayswater which has enough space to cater any type of event. There are so many amazing hotels in London to choose from, and I’ve had the pleasure of photographing events in many of them; anything from a black tie to a conference, even small but important business meetings.

Over three days I photographed a welcome drink reception in the Beech Room then I spent the rest of my time photographing the main conference on the lower ground at the Westbourne Room which is HUGE. There is enough space to host 500+ guests if need to be.

The hotel has plenty of space for me (and the five other videographers) to roam around freely without disturbing the flow of the speakers. There is so much planning involved by my clients in making a conference a success that I think it is so important to get a vast archive of images that are useful for the client marketing team and for the rest of the client social media needs. Therefore I always aim to get a cross range of pictures of the speakers (tight, side and wide shots) and interesting audience shots that shows everything that happened at the conference.
