EartH Conference Photographer

Most of my conferences work is mainly in Westminster or around Central London so it was refreshing change to be commissioned to work at EartH in Hackney. The lighting throughout the venue was very challenging but it created amazing look throughout the pictures.

For this busy conference, which had lots of different stages, I had to work quickly and focus on getting the key shots in each presentation, moving to capture the best angles and capture the dynamism of each conversation. Once i had successfully covered one stage, I had to move onto the next one, with little chance to pause.

The moments I aim to cover as a conference photographer are a good range of speaker shots, crowd shots, reaction shots and also Q&A shots. My focus is to reflect the flavour and rhythm of the conference day and to capture images that work well as both a record of the event, and for future marketing purposes.
