Gala Dinner Photography at Jumeirah Carlton Tower

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to work at Jumeirah Carlton Tower which is located in Knightbridge. My brief at the event was to capture the speeches and the rest of the dinner. The evening started with me photographing the drink reception in the lovely rooms opposite the Ballroom then shortly after that the guests sat down for their dinner. In-between the courses there were speeches and plenty of fun happening round the dinner table.

Later on in the evening when the event was coming to a close the final entertainment was revealed! This was Dabke dance by four talented dancers. I have to admit i never seen or heard of the Dabke dance before! So after looking briefly online I found out that Dabke dance is a mixture of line dancing and circle dancing. It was amazing performance to watch and a great way for the gala dinner to end!
