When I am not photographing big conferences in England’s capital and the rest of the UK, a couple of my evenings per week are taken up photographing corporate events of 50+ guests. These are always fun nights to cover and always interesting things to listen to. Recently I photographed at a new venue, Tech Hub, which was only seven minutes (or so!) away from Old Street tube station.

I love being commissioned to photograph smaller meetups because there is always the challenge of getting the requested shots but at the same time trying to be discreet! I have a shot list in my head that I try to work through that I know the clients will want for their Instagram and Facebook pages. At the same time I keep it simple with my Sony camera setup so the guests aren’t overwhelmed or even distracted by a professional photographer photographing the event! Here are a few of my favourite shots from the interesting evening.
